Ropely

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms govern your use of Ropely ("the Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Ropely is

Ropely is software that helps creators run paid communities: checkout, membership passes, automated access to Telegram, Discord, or WhatsApp, and lifecycle tools (renewals, grace, removals). We are a technology provider — not a payment processor, merchant of record, or escrow agent.

2. Non-custodial payments

Creators connect their own payment accounts (e.g. Stripe Connect, Paystack subaccount, Mercado Pago, Xendit, crypto wallets). Member payments settle directly to the creator's connected account. Ropely does not hold, store, or control creator or member funds.

3. Creator responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your community content, pricing, refunds, and member support.
  • You must comply with applicable laws, tax obligations, and payment-provider terms.
  • You grant Ropely permission to act on your behalf to grant and revoke platform access when a pass is active or expired.
  • You must not use the Platform for fraud, sanctions evasion, or illegal goods/services.

4. Platform fees

Fees are described on our pricing page. Free tier and capped platform fees apply as shown at checkout. Metered fees may be collected via your connected billing method where applicable.

5. Member terms

Members purchase access from creators, not from Ropely. Disputes about content, delivery, or refunds are between the member and the creator. Ropely may provide tools (portal, receipts) but does not adjudicate creator–member disputes.

6. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape member data without consent, abuse webhooks or APIs, or interfere with other creators' communities. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules or pose security or legal risk.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and third-party outages (Telegram, Stripe, etc.) may affect access automation. See our status page for incidents.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ropely is provided "as is." We are not liable for lost profits, indirect damages, or issues arising from third-party payment or messaging providers. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
